2016 Pastorius Park Concerts
The 68th Annual Pastorius Park Free Summer Concert Series by the Chestnut Hill Community Association feature bands from a blend of different genres and cultural backgrounds for seven weeks of easy listening music.
The concerts took place every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. from June 15 to July 27. Our 2016 schedule includes these wonderful performers:
June 29: Joanna Pascale – Sophisticated, expressive jazz
July 6: Alo Brasil – A tornado of rhythm and sound
July 13: Wesley Stace & The English UK – Acclaimed singer songwriter
July 20: Laurin Talese – Captivating jazz vocalist
July 27: RUNA – Irish Super Group
We began our 2016 concerts with:
June 15: Members of The Philadelphia Orchestra- Glorious classical music
June 22: Ben Arnold- Soulful songwriter
The Pastorius Park Concert Series is produced by the Chestnut Hill Community Association and is supported by both The Chestnut Hill Community Fund and Chestnut Hill Hospital. If a show is rained out, it takes place at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s Cherokee Campus.
